PUSH ORTHO CMC THUMB BRACE

The original CMC Brace for streamlined control and relief for the CMC thumb (basal) joint.

HOW IT WORKS:

The Push CMC stabilises the basal joint of the thumb and places the thumb in a functional position. This guarantees optimal hand function and reduces such symptoms as pain and loss of strength.

FEATURES:

The Push CMC thumb brace consists of a cylindrical section around the ball of the thumb and a fixed connection running along the palm to the outside of the hand. This can be closed at the back of the hand with two non-elastic bands. The cylindrical section consists of two components: an aluminium strip and a transparent, flexible, synthetic part. The aluminium strip can be shaped and individually adapted for maximum stabilization of the base of the thumb. The selected materials and rounded edges guarantee maximum comfort. The simple closing system enables patients to fit the brace themselves without any effort.

The Secur Basic wrist brace replaces our original SecurFlex braces. This product has the high quality velcro fastenings and aluminium stays that have made the Securflex brace so popular in the past, but unlike the Securflex, the Secur Basic has an edge finishing, increasing durability. Ideal for post operative immobilisation of the wrist.

• Hook and loop straps with buckles for easy application and better fit

APPLICATION

• Lay wrist brace open on a flat surface.
• Place open hand, palm down, against the metal rod with thumb extending out of the cutaway.
• Bring edges of the brace together and do up all velcro straps, adjusting for comfort. You should be able to still bend fingers at the knuckles.

Provides even compression over limb with self sealing edges when cut.

This is a double sided loop with excellent durable qualities that will bond easily with all brands of hook fasteners including Velcro® brand hook products.

This product maintains its integrity and does not de-laminate as easily as some of the other brands of double sided loop. This is more cost effective and is patient compliant.

• Double-sided loop provides strong non stretch durable cushioned support to secure splints in place.

LMB Spring Finger Extension Assist L501 Series -PIP Joint Limitation

Treat a variety of diagnoses involving PIP joint tightness. Indicated for PIP joint limitation of 45 degrees or less. Approximately 8 oz. (227g) of force is applied when the PIP joint is in 15 degrees of flexion. The contoured center pad distributes pressure evenly on the PIP joint. Bilateral wires may be bent to adjust force and to accommodate changes in edema. 

Size 

 To size, measure from the distal palmar crease to the distal finger crease (finger extended).
