Hook & Loop (Velcro) Straps & Tape

Secur Durable double-sided loop is the strapping material for splints: soft loop on both faces, no stretch, and it bonds to any hook fastener, including Velcro® brand. Cut a length, press hook onto either side, and you have a padded, non-stretch strap that holds a thermoplastic splint firmly without pressure points. The edges self-seal when cut, so straps don't fray, and it doesn't de-laminate the way cheaper double-sided loops do.

Please note: this is loop on both sides. It is not hook-and-loop. You attach hook (self-adhesive or sew-on) wherever you need a closure.

Choosing a width

• 25 mm — finger, thumb and small hand-based splints.

Neoloop is neoprene strap with loop fabric on one face and nylon on the other, so hook tape grips it anywhere along its length. Cut it to size, wrap it round a limb, a device or a handle, and press on hook. Because the neoprene has body, it makes stiffer, more padded straps than plain loop tape: the strap for custom positioning splints, padded handles and any support that needs a wide, soft closure.

SecurGrip Extra Thin Loop is the narrow, low-profile loop fabric for splint and brace strapping. At 13 mm wide it suits finger and thumb splints, paediatric work and anywhere a standard 25 mm strap would be too bulky; the thin weave sits flat against the skin and under clothing.

How it is used

Cut to length and pair it with a SecurGrip adhesive hook on the splint. The loop side faces out, so the strap fastens to hook anywhere along its length. It is part of the SecurGrip hook and loop range, which is designed to reduce snagging on clothing.

Double-sided loop provides soft, cushioned support to secure splints in place. Made of a five-layered, laminate material with controlled, limited stretch for comfort and secure placement. Outer layers are tricot pile loop for quick mating with most hook materials. Edges self-seal when cut. Padding adds comfort and pressure distribution.

Where a non-stretch strap would dig in as a limb swells or moves, elastic loop keeps an even tension, so it is the strap for securing splints and equipment that must stay comfortable through the day. Neoloop Whole Sheets with Loop fabric (Neoprene)

Traditional nylon-faced neoprene with one-sided loop fabric, so hook fasteners grip anywhere on the sheet. Available in Black/Black.

Sheet size: 1.25 m wide x 1.5 m long. If more than one length is purchased we supply a continuous roll for better yield.

Additional freight may apply to whole sheets. The 4 mm sheet is an indent line: if it is out of stock, allow about 10 weeks.

Alternative: the same neoprene cut into Neoloop straps for attaching hook fasteners.

Buddy Loops join adjacent fingers together for support and protection during hand therapy, helping guide movement and prevent re-injury. Each loop is 13 mm wide and 12.5 cm long, in black.

Pack sizes: a pack of 5 for a single patient, or a clinic pack of 100 (the same loops, at about half the per-loop price).
