The 2.3 kg clinic tub of SecurPutty: six graded resistances of non-toxic silicone putty for hand strengthening, range of motion and tendon gliding. Made in the USA. This is the size hand-therapy departments and clinics buy; the same putty comes in 85 g tubs for individual patients.
Choosing a resistance
Match the colour to the patient's tested grip strength (kg). Start weak patients on yellow; move through red, green and blue for medium-grade work; use purple and dark green for strong patients finishing a strengthening program.

Care and storage
- Store at room temperature; warm days can make putty tacky
- Keep it off fabric and textured surfaces, and return it to the tub after use
