Tubon Tubular Gauze Bandage
Tubon is used in the following applications:
1. Casting - Applied as the primary layer on limbs, prior to the application of cast padding and casting materials.
2. Oedema Control - Applied as the primary layer on limbs prior to the application of pressure bandaging.
3. Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation -The lining of splints, braces and orthoses.
4. Wound care & Dermatology- Applied over dressings and wet wraps, to prevent clothing and bedding from being soiled by ointments and creams.
Tubon offers the following benefits:
- Made from Pure Cotton. Cotton is the most comfortable fibre, as it absorbs perspiration away from the skin.
- Allows good air circulation to the skin, due to the open knit structure.
- Available in 8 sizes, which will cover fingers, limbs and torsos.
- Australian Made, by an Australian owned Company
The smaller sizes are used for dressing retention on fingers and toes.
The larger sizes are used on limbs and torso.
