VBM PRESSURE CUFF MONITOR
For use with in combination with High Volume Low pressure Endo cuffs
The VBM Pressure Cuff Monitor is used for inflating and controlling cuff pressures on tracheal tubes with high-volume, low-volume pressure cuffs. Using the control-inflator with high-volume, low-volume pressure cuffs, pressure necroses in the trachea can largely be avoided.
The control-inflator attaches quickly and easily to the inflation cuff line. The gauge incorporates a cuff inflator which makes syringes and complicated connections unnecessary. The air-release button and cuff inclinator allows cuff pressure to be varied simply and easily.
Helps in the reduction /risk of pressure necrosis and mucosal ischemia.
Assists in preventing risks of aspiration which can lead to the possibility of pneumonia
