Polar Care Wave combines motorised cold therapy with active compression in a simple and compact system, for facility and home use. It travels from the hospital, clinic or athletic training room to the patient's home, extending the benefits of cold and compression. It is designed to reduce pain and oedema; motorised cold and compression devices have been shown to decrease narcotic use after surgery.
Intended use
Post-surgical and acute injuries where cold and compression are indicated, used by or on the order of licensed healthcare professionals in hospitals, outpatient clinics, athletic training settings or at home.
