Basic Palm Protectors

A soft foam roll that keeps a clenched hand open enough to protect the palm, while leaving the fingers free to move. Closed-cell foam lined with a fleece-like fabric sits across the palm and is held by a hook-and-loop strap. It helps prevent finger contractures and skin breakdown where nails press into the palm. One size; pack of three; left and right are separate.

Aged care, neuro rehab and palliative care: residents and patients with hand contracture after stroke, dementia or brain injury, and the OTs and nurses who manage skin integrity in the palm.
