• Lay wrist brace open on a flat surface.

PUSH ORTHO CMC THUMB BRACE

HOW IT WORKS:

The Push CMC stabilises the basal joint of the thumb and places the thumb in a functional position. This guarantees optimal hand function and reduces such symptoms as pain and loss of strength.

FEATURES:

The Push CMC thumb brace consists of a cylindrical section around the ball of the thumb and a fixed connection running along the palm to the outside of the hand. This can be closed at the back of the hand with two non-elastic bands. The cylindrical section consists of two components: an aluminium strip and a transparent, flexible, synthetic part. The aluminium strip can be shaped and individually adapted for maximum stabilization of the base of the thumb. The selected materials and rounded edges guarantee maximum comfort. DERMAGEL is ideal for reducing the size and erythema of new or old scars due to burns, trauma and surgery. This medical-grade silicone elastomer provides excellent conformity around contours for intimate contact with the scar. Thin and translucent, DermaGel is cosmetically appealing and encourages compliance. Patients appreciate the discreet, low-profile look. Single-sided tackiness prevents sticking to clothing or other dressings, and the thin poly-film liner allows clean, smooth cutting of custom shapes. A strong adhesive holds the material in place, reducing the need for secondary fixation. Limits the development and recurrence of both hypertrophic and keloid scars.

DERMAGEL Natural (Fabric Backed) offers all the advantages of original DERMAGEL, but with a soft, natural coloured fabric liner. This helps maintain the integrity of the gel sheet and assists in the handling of the product.

GelMate® Silicone Gel Sheets

GelMate is a medical grade silicone gel sheet for scar management that provides excellent conformability for small and large surfaces.

GelMate® is self adherent on one side and backed by an anti-microbial (bacteria resistant) cloth that glides under clothing on the other. Helps to flatten and soften raised scars and may prevent the formation of hypertrophic (thickened) or Keloid scars.

- Silicone gel sheets help improve the color and appearance of new or mature scars.

Gel Flex is an anti -microbial gel sheet for scar management

Gel Flex Ultra Provide excellent conformability for small and large surfaces.

This version is approximately ½ the thickness of our original Gel Sheeting GS3080.

Our new, thinner design is ideal for reducing friction and shear forces and to improve the comfort of devices and braces that are used on smaller, more delicate areas of the body such as the fingers and toes, where limiting excessive bulk is vital to ensuring the proper fit of the device.

Our proprietary Gel Flex Silicone Gel has been dermatologist tested and is hypoallergenic. The sheeting is washable and reusable and is a “Diabetic Friendly” product.
